This was our second cruise on the MSC Seaside, last year we made the eastern cruise. We like the MSC experience so much we have already booked our cruise for 2020 on the MSC Meravigilia.

Food was excellent, staff was attentive, friendly and amazing!!! Buffets were hectic and some fellow cruisers were a bit rude, but food was good and ships staff were friendly and helpful and kept the tables clean.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Didn't make use of the fitness center, pools were always a bit crowed, but were clean and still fun. The water slides were a blast and my wife enjoyed the onboard zip-line.

MSC Aurea Spa

5 out of 5

I had a problem with a purchase that required outside transportation to the ship that required me to ask for help at Guest Services and they were extremely helpful in assisting me.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were great! The adult BeerProv show was hilarious and the Michael Jackson show just blew my wife and I away!!!!!!

Children's Programs

No children, just my wife and I.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiter and head waiter were simply AMAZING!!!! We can't say enough good things about them. Room steward did great job of maintaining our room and restocking our minibar. In my opinion every member of the staff I interacted with were always helpful, friendly and smiling.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Love the arrangement of the pools, the infinity bridges on the sides of the ship were amazing. But the glass elevators on the stern with the "Bridge of Sighs" on deck 16 were simply breathtaking, especially at sunset!!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bathroom was a little small and cramped, but there felt like more room in the interior cabin we had this year vs the balcony cabin we had on the Seaside on our last cruise> I wanted to give our room steward a big hug when she pointed out that our suitcases would fit UNDER the bed! Our room steward last year neglected to show us this.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

This was our embarkation port. Didn't take any excursions on disembarkation day.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Port seemed nice, although somewhat small.

George Town, Grand Cayman

This was my first time ever tendering at a port. It went smoothly I suppose, but it would be a much better place if they could build a pier where ships could dock.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Port seemed well laid out, it appeared there were two distinct areas for cruise ships to dock so as to minimize crowds in one particular area.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Good port arrangement, easy walk to shopping and restaurants.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and uneventful.
