Review summary

If you’re a first time cruiser you will enjoy this ship. Great entertainment and beautiful ship. The pricing is also appropriate for the experience. Do not expect excellent service though.

The food was very good. Bar service was horrendous all over ship. Staff always looked overworked, rarely friendly and didn’t care. This may have something to do with the big push on the beverage package which many folks took. As they already have the revenue why bother with quality drinks and service. Very shortsighted on MSC part.

Onboard Activities

Pools were overcrowded. Impossible to use the hot tubs as they were few and far between and always crowded. Slides were brilliant though.

Entertainment

Although it was in house entertainers each day the shows were brilliant. Problem lies when you do more then a week as the shows remain the same each week.

Service and Staff

Everyone from restaurant to housekeeping were tired, overworked and not very good. Usually I can think of a dozen folks who have done an excellent job - can’t think of one on this cruise.

Fairly nic e layout with much balcony space. The closet is too close to the bed so not easy access and only space for a 7 day cruise.

Ship tip

The price is great and you do get value for your money. If service isn’t an issue you may enjoy this ship.

I agree. We were on the Seaside April of 2018. Went for the price and status match. I agree service just isn't good. Our room guy was not nice at all. Dinning room service was awful! This was our 15th cruise and the 1st one that couldn't remember what we drink from night to night. Asked for our card nightly and never called us by name. Ship is beautiful and price was amazing. We will go again, but the rest of of family so they will not. I can look over alot to save a lot of money. Just hoping they improve before we go with MSC again. I will be watching reviews. The only show we didn't walk out on was the Michael Jackson show. Comedy was good 1st night after that wasn't worth staying up for.
