Review summary

We had a group of 14 on the ship. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. Unfortunately we were unable to dine together except in specialty dining as we were all assigned to different dining rooms at different times. So this messed up the evenings unless we chose to eat in the buffet- which I frequently did. If you go, try to get yatch club or AUREA experience. It is worth the upcharge. All in all, the trip was a good value for the money.

it went very smoothly, as i borded with my parents in the Yatch Club

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I ate in the buffet primarily, the service in the Yatch club dining room was too slow, very slow, food was served cold, and the menu was very limited. We ate in the Tempenyaki dining one night and that was good. Would have liked to try other specialty dining experiences but they were too over priced.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I visited many bars while on ship. I intended to zip line, but it was only open two times an line was very long. We bowled, and that was a lot of fun. The Simulator and billards were very fun too once we got our FUN Pass to work.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Went to several shows, and one comedy night. The shows were professionally done, the performers were good. They basically did the same thing each night to different music. I spent some time in the night clubs - and casino. They were ok. the adult comedian was trashy.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
I was somewhat disappointed with the service especially in the Yatch club dining room. They were not attentive and were very slow. Dinner easily took over 2 hours. The bars were slow. the room stewards were great. In my opinion the staff was either undertrained or short staffed.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and had lots of space for people to spread out. Unfortunately it have several bottle necks and poor flow. It was awkard to need to go up or down a level to traverse a deck. Where public gatherings occurred for special events, the entire passage ways would be blocked off due to the event and those not involved could not pass by. The ship was in very good repair and very beautiful. Even though the seas were not rough, the ship had a lot of movement- up and down and lateral movement.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was adequate for one or two persons. I can not imagine a family with a child or two crammed into this space. Their is not much space for personal belongings. The rooms are simply decorated and are comfortable.

Ship tip

Bring seasickness medication. Bring all documentation of any prepaid packages. Many computer systems glitches.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Very easy to access and exist.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We booked an island tour off ship and enjoyed it very much. Would have loved to have more daylight time here in San Juan. 5 PM arrival is too late.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Took a full day snorkeling excursion on BONES pirate ship. It was a blast. Snorkled with turtles. Later took a taxi tour of the island. Wonderful.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Took an excursion booked privately with BILLY BONES Charters. It was awesome! Snorking, beach break and lunch. Could not have been better!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarked with my Parents in Yatch Club so it was a breeze. We were excorted to the front of the line. Those not in yatch Club waited in lines for a very long time.
