Review summary

This was our 28th Wedding anniversary and I was not pleased with this cruise. Other cruise lines go out of their way to make your Anniversary great! I you wanted anything special on this cruise you had to buy it! They nickeled and dimed you to death We will never go on a MSC cruise again!

The only staff that was good was the room staff. Very rude, Had to keep getting up and getting my own drinks by the pool. No one spoke to us unless we spoke to them. Did not understand English well When we walked into the shops no one even spoke to us.

I agree no cruise line and I have done 50 provides you with special events other then singing at table!! I have no idea what lines you sailed that provided all the items for a celebration

I have to agree with @kpellapatrick as there are a lot of people on a cruise and I’m guessing a large percentage of them are there celebrating some special occasion. I’m guessing if you are a higher status member, more is offered to you but happy Anniversary! You were on a cruise!! :-)

Just an FYI there was a group of 18 of us that traveled on Carnival Magic for my Parents 50th Anniversary and they DID NOT GET ANYTHING special at all because of it - what they got my Brother and I paid for as far as decorating their room and champagne and glasses ALL OF WHICH WAS PAID FOR BY US, so I don’t take your comment to much to heart and as far as the food I’m guessing that’s just your opinion because I have read NUMEROUS REVIEWS about how good the food choices and food in general was and I have also read numerous reviews on how wonderful the room/ floor staff were, so again I believe that is all just your opinion, which everyone has
