Review summary

We truly enjoyed this cruise. We received reciprocal points for our status on Royal Caribbean (Diamond Plus) and were upgraded to their highest status (Black card). I have to say, the amenities on this ship put Royal Caribbean to shame. We will hopefully sail with MSC again. We really enjoyed ourselves. The only negative my husband found is they don't provide bar soap and that's his preference. They do have a soap dispenser by the sink and shampoo and shower gel in the shower; just not his preference. Not a big negative.

I thought sailing out of Miami would be stressful, but the Port was easy to maneuver and we were on quickly.

The food in the main dining room was very good. We got a specialty restaurant for free and it was fabulous!! The buffet had quite a nice selection at all times. We got the upgrade to deluxe drink package and would do it again.

All of the waitstaff were very attentive and pleasant. Our room steward was very efficient and pleasant as well. We have absolutely no complaints about the service we received everywhere.

This is quite a beautiful ship. The layout is a little different and took time to get used to. All the areas are quite clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was very spacious. I would have liked more drawers or cupboards for storage, but we managed just fine. The room was kept clean and neat by our cabin steward. He brought ice for our champagne.

We love St. Maarten, St. Martin. This time we decided to do a tour of the island and are so happy we did. It was a great overview of both sides of the island. We have been there many times, but never had a tour.
