Review summary

Great cruise once I realized that I was fighting a losing battle with the room steward if I wanted him to do anything. I filled my ice bucket myself in the buffet restaurant. I had to buy batteries for the TV remote because he refused to replace them. I doubt he ever vacuumed the cabin, I had to ask another steward to borrow his vacuum and returned it when I finished.

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were good, Ocean Cay-the seafood restaurant and Asian Fusion were the best. The steak house Butchers Cut was OK. By Wednesday, the buffet ran out of half and half and we had to use milk. On your first day, make sure to hit the buffet and if you like prosciutto or Seafood Paella, you better get all you can stand because you won't see these again.

Service and Staff

Staff was great with one exception, the cabin steward. I had the worst experience in 14 cruises I have taken with this guy. I had to go to the buffet to fill my ice bucket 5 times during the cruise because he forgot to do it. He refused to replace the dead batteries in the TV remote, so I had to go buy the batteries in the gift shop and put them in myself(which I took back out and put the dead ones in at the end of the cruise).

Ship tip

On embarkation day, get to the buffet and load up on prosciutto and seafood Paella, you won't see these again for the entire cruise. Also if you like half and half in your morning coffee, squirell away enough for the trip in your cabin, we ran out Wednesday and had to use milk.
