Review summary

We loved our cruise. We relaxed in the sun during the days at sea and enjoyed the beautiful ship. We were glad for maps of the ship so we could find our way around. I would recommend the MSC seaside for a cruise . There were many different countries represented and the captain of the ship spoke in seven different languages All in all it was a great trip to celebrate birthdays

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food on the ship was just ok. We ate at the buffet every morning and the food was plentiful. At night we ate in a restaurant that was included in our package. The food there was served several times with the same sauce. The service was great.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The shows were not what was expected. We left before they were over several nights. However the one that featured a Michael Jackson was fantastic!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the service and staff were great. The cleaning staff was always very friendly and did a great job. Every staff member was polite and helpful.

Ship tip

Check your account on a daily basis . We found we were being charged for each cleaning of our cabin and it was per person. We talked to custom service and told them that was included in our total price and they did take the charges off.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

St Mararten has not recovered from the hurricane. We did enjoy swimming at a beach there but that was the extent of our time visiting the island.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
We loved Puerto Rico and would love to return. We took the coffee walking tour and it was very enjoyable. We learned a lot of history of the island and enjoyed walking around in the old city

Nassau, Bahamas

Not much to do here except shop. We had lunch at a local restaurant and enjoyed it very much.

The captain is from the Divina and speaks way more than 7 languages. I think he quit after 15 when we were on board and he could have kept going. Most incredible thing I ever saw.
