Review summary

First the goiod, the staff were very friendly. Always greeting you with a good morning or good afternoon or good evening. Best staff of any cruise ship line that I have been on. All the food venues were fabulous. Second, limited accessible seats for the handicaped. Shopping was hard due the the set up in the ship stores. Finally on the 6th day of the cruise, it was noted by the staff that no handicap individuals to get into shops.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Being handicapped, it was the easiest boarding experience that I ever had on any other cruise line. The one on one care the ship provided took all the stress out.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All 3 (dining room, specialty restaurants and buffets) provided fabulous dining experiences where the MSC staff provided for any need.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
More handicapped activities need to be provided. There were not many on this ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They were outstanding especially the theater shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our Stewart on MSC was the sweetest, hard working individual. Her name was Ana from the Philippines. She provided for anything we needed.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Whereas the ship's furniture was modern and sleek, it was impossible for individuals with a handicap to use. Some venues did not have any seats that I could use. I love listening to the piano player but I was forced to set on my scooter because none of the ships chairs (too low and armless) were accessible. Not a relaxing experience so I left. There were no seats in the bowling alley area.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I had a handicap cabin and couldn't have been more please with the cabin and it's size and the wonderful Stewart that I had. I appreciated her

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
No because I live in Florida

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
No excursions due to any handicap accessible ones provided though the ship. I was able to go ashore with my electric scooter but was limited by the electric charge capacity. What I did get to see was wonderful and of course I bought take home treasures.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
No excursions due to any accessible handicapped ones provided by the ship. Was able to visit some shops on the island.

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
No excursions available through the ship excursion desk. The town with steps into most shops was not enjoyable. Would look for cruises that do not go to this island.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Just as embarkation, the disembarking experience by MSC Seaside for handicaped individuals was organized and an all round stress less experience. Again MSC staff was friendly and professional. The care they provided was exceptional. I can't say enough good things.
