Review summary
Nice ship but poor service and lousy food. There was a fire on board the first night. At first they said there was no fire and nothing to worry about, but when you smell smoke and crew members were monitoring the halls with fire extinguishers, you know there's more to it. The fire shut down the elevators for days. Everyone had to use the stairs, which was difficult for me and many other passengers. Once service was restored, the elevator lines were always long. I was hoping for better food on board, but the buffet was horrible. You'll have to pay for food at the specialty restaurants if you want good food and service. Had both good and bad service in the main restaurant. Some staff completely ignores you, and some are really great. Overall, much better service on other cruise lines.Embarkation

Ship tip
Stick to the main dining rooms. The buffet food is not so good, and not well organized.
