It was a great cruise. I am planning another for my birthday in February. This ship is so pretty but so huge that we did not get to explore it in the 4 days on board. The food was interesting and very good. The staff goes out of there way. If you engage in a conversation with them, they are delightful. The Ocean Cay port is a must go.
Embarkation

It took over an hour in line to get to the counter to check in. This was not fun as it was a rainy day. Then, we waited another hour approximately, to board.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The breakfast buffet was just okay. We did not do a sit down breakfast as this cruise has a port every day. The lunch buffet was fantastic. There was so many choices and lots of new things to try. We did the sit down dinner every night in the main dining room. The menu was just okay but everything we chose was very good. The bread was always fresh. We had late night pizza and snacks every night. The pizza is really good! They also put out other fare and that was very good, as well. The buffet area is a bit disjointed but by day 4, we got use to it.
Madison Theatre

The theater was very comfortable. The three shows we saw were excellent.

Boutique

I thought the stores were so so. It had the usual stuff.
MSC Signature Casino

I do not spend a lot here but I enjoy the slots. I found the machines to be very tight, and also, they were all high tech with higher start wagers. I enjoy some of the old school machines so this was just okay for us.
The Aft Infinity Pool

We spent a good deal of time here after out port visits. The pool is very small but very pleasant.

Service and Staff

Everyone worked hard to give us a great experience. Everyone was friendly. The guest services desk was okay but could use a little help with communication.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is absolutely beautiful. There were people cleaning throughout the day.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was nice. The stateroom was very small but well appointed with storage. The shower was the smallest shower ever in all my cruises. The balcony was just okay. It had a metal railing vice a glass one, so you could not lounge and look out. You had to stand up to see the ocean. We really did not enjoy it. However, it was a free upgrade so we lost nothing.
The newly build port area makes it so much easier to walk to the local beach. Junkanoo Beach. We packed a cooler and enjoyed the beach. It was a wonderful day and the water was so nice.
We just relaxed and enjoyed the day. We enjoyed the evening with the fire pits. We also enjoyed a couple of hours the next day. They accept the beverage package on the island. It is a wonderful island suitable for everyone.
We did self disembarkation. It went very well. We got a shuttle to our hotel where we parked our car. We were in the car by 8:22AM and that was with a stop.
We are sailing February 16, 2025, celebrating birthdays, my 75, grandsons 25, two others and brothers retirement from Army Corps of Engineers. A week of parties, we are in the YC
