Not sure I would use MSC again. The area on the "Promenade" deck made you walk through a smoking section. You could not walk around the ship in a continuous loop. There should be a dining section in the buffet area that is for adults only and an attendant at the door to enforce this.

Food and Dining

The buffet was a little lacking. Too much of the same thing. The main dining room was a much better affair. Some variety that was appreciated.

We used the pools and outdoor chairs. There were too many children running on the decks out of control. I thought the crew should have said something to them or their parents.
Service and Staff

Staff and servers were vey cordial, polite and friendly

The elevator design was very nice. I thought that the restaurant layouts could have been more user friendly and closer together in one area.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was too close to the closet. The doors to the closet were much too hard to open. May have needed a better design to open theim. The balcony was not over the water, but over the deck in the bow area and only the horizon water could be seen. The corridors were too long. Perhaps another elevator bank is needed on the forward area like the one in the stern
No excursion used. Thought the gift shops were very overpriced and selection was not there. Swam in both the small lagoon and the larger lagoon. The smaller one had a mushy bottom and was too shallow. I think even when the tide came in it would still be too shallow.
The process started too early. When we arrived at our meeting place at the scheduled time, we were told that we did not need to be there and to get off the ship. Rather that a coordinated and thoughtful disembarkation that did not have long lines and frustrated guests, it was confusing and unorganized.
