Overall a great cruise. The staff was top notch and the ship is very clean. This is our 3rd MSC cruise and could tell they have stepped up their game to be more competitive with the American market. We have always enjoyed MSC and after this cruise would continue to sail with them .
Embarkation
5 out of 5
MSC has made their process super smooth now. Well organized and love that you can get on the ship right away and head to your cabin. Port Canaveral staff needs to be more organized with parking. The website says parking opens at 10. When we arrived they said it doesn't open until 10:30 and you are not allowed to wait in your car in line. The cruise before ours was cancelled and there were no cars in the parking garage they needed to wait upon. The staff at the parking was actually rude.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room was excellent and love that they still have filet mignon and lobster on elegant night with no extra charge. The Buffet did have very good food, but is very large and can be chaotic more than we experienced on other cruises. Also, at least 1-2 ice machines were broken causing them to put buckets of ice you scoop out of and was very unsanitary imo.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Entertainment was well done.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Room steward and MDR waiter was top notch. Very memorable and friendly.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
This is the one thing we struggled with on this ship. The layout just was not our preferred style. It is very segmented and just didn't have a large ship feel to the way it was designed. Compared to the Merivilgia, this ship just didn't suit our tastes for layout and design.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The name interior room was very spacious and well appointed. We find the MSC cabins are some of the nicest.
Ship tip
On sea days they have lunch/brunch in the MDR. This is an improvement for alternative dining options.
Well organized self disembarking process. The line is long but they have it well organized with staff making sure everyone is in line and not a cluster trying to get off.
