Review summary

Never book with .... they promise stateroom credit, but they screwed me out of $50 plus their prices are the same as the cruiseline and they charge processing fee. They give you visa prepaid gift card, but have to wait till after the cruise ... still waiting for mine! Would never book with them!

Embarkation

Everyone seemed to show up at the same - it didn't matter what boarding time you had because they let everyone on regardless. Also the parking lot at the port was crazy .. took over 45 min to park. The muster drill was a total nightmare! Why they would have 5K passagers all at the same time go to their station at the same time is beyond me! Also they shut elevators down so everyone had to go 6 flitghts of stairs

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Drinks were good because we had a drink package ... however in the Minors Package we were suppose to get soft serve ice cream at the bars, but they were all "broken down" -- which i do not believe ... they just are cheap and don't want to give ice cream. We went to the dining room 1 night and it was horrible ... chicken picatta was inediable ... husband got lasagna and for an italian ship they should be ashamed of the quality. Also the pizza my daughter got was almost ineditable. So we went back to the buffet which was really good the first day or so .. then it just got worse and worse (quality of food was bad, variety, running out of food, etc)

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The Waterslides and Splash Pad were amazing! We spent at least 3 hours a day there! My daughter had a blast! The waiver I think could have been done online, but at least they let you wear watershoes on the slides ... that was a huge plus! We also loved the Jungle Pool! It was quiet and beautiful (parents just beware that its like 6ft deep). Also we loved the arcade! They had cool simulator games, however my daughter was a little young for that but we had a blast at playing all the games in the arcade! They even had a prize hub

Children's Programs

Even though my daughter could have gone to the kids clubs, we decided we rather spend time as a family instead of dumping our kid off. She also did not want to go

Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was amazing! If it was just to rate him, he would get 5 stars! But everyone else were either really mean or just felt that they wanted you off the ship. One instance we had with the dining room was that we were about 5 min late for our dining time and there was this woman that gave us such an attitude ... it was really unnecessary and really inappropriate what she was saying. Also the bartenders tended to serve the bimbos first which ok fine ... but then there was this 1 bartender that did not know what he was doing and we politely informed him to make a mojito you have to muddle the mint leaves and he rolled his eyes and was like whatever and didn't even do it.

Ship Quality

The ship is beautiful! Although i could do with a little less mirrors (they were confusing sometimes getting off the elevator). There were always staff polishing the stairways, handrails and cleaning. The ship is stunning ... i would go on again just for the look and usually that stuff doesn't matter to me ... it was just that beautiful

Cabin / Stateroom

We loved the balcony! it was pretty large (we could easily fit 3 chairs out there). Also the room itself was nice. The sofa bed for my daughter wasn't too comfortable (she liked carnival much better). Also I know bathrooms are small on cruise ships ... but oh boy ... this one was tiny! The shower was too small to even turn around in ... they have the water controls on this bar sticking out so that if you have warm water coming out, that bar gets HOT and i brushed up with it with my back and burnt my back. And if the shower wasn't bad enough , the toilet was smaller than my kids training potty! And to make it worse, they didn't give any leg room ... you had to contort your legs ... i have marks on my knees. I heard they have bigger showers in some rooms ... i would def recommend an upgrade! And we ended up using public bathrooms just because there were more room!

Ship tip

tiny bathrooms, lots of uneccessary stuff to fill out and do, but beautiful ship and fun waterslides and pools

We went later when most people were coming back on ship and we had a great time on the beach! We went to lighthouse bay (the closest one) ... and it was beautiful! I wish they had the lighthouse show at night

Nassau, Bahamas

we only just went off port and did some shopping. You can't negotiate at port but the prices weren't that much higher than not in port. It was great how they set up all the shops together. The walk down was far since MSC is the furthest, so it took at least 15 min to walk. There are golf carts that go up and down.

Disembarkation

That was really quick and easy! we didn't leave until after 9:15 ... we had a late breakfast and hung out in the buffet for awhile then just took some time to wonder a little on the ship before heading out. There were no lines or anything and getting luggage was smooth. Also getting out of the parking garage was a breeze!
