Review summary

We had a wonderful 7-day cruise on the MSC Seascape. Overall, the ship was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. All service providers (dining, bar, room, guest, etc.) were exceptionally polite and friendly. And there was plenty of staff to meet our needs each day. We may consider a longer trip in the future.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food served on the buffet was consistently lukewarm or cold. We requested if they could heat our plates, but the staff informed us that they didn't have a microwave available. The food on the buffet was always lukewarm and cold. We asked if they could heat our plates but were told they had no microwave. The drink package is a must.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We made the most of the swimming pools and whirlpools during our vacation. By leaving for excursions later than usual, we were able to enjoy some private time using both.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment (shows) - The spacious and comfortable venues provided an enjoyable experience.

Children's Programs

No kids accompanied us on our honeymoon.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
I would rate this question with five stars, but MSC didn't acknowledge that we picked them for our honeymoon, despite the excellent staff. Special thank you to: Ritesh Sookun, Jayson Herrera, Ashvina John, and Yasa Parmuiartana.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All areas were beautiful. The ships layout resembles the cruise we took with Carnival.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Five stars, except that no one on the ship acknowledged our honeymoon. A simple card would have been lovely. I wish I had the full name, but Randy (room 13026) treated us like royalty.

Ship tip

Get the drink package and be careful not to wear yourself out trying to attend all the activities.
