Review summary

It was a great week, i wish i could start all the way over. I met so many nice people on this ship and even kept in contact with some. I would 100% Recommend MSC Seashore and MSC in general. It’s different, and thats how it should stay. If you don’t like it, stick with another cruiseline🤷‍♂️

Embarkation

5 out of 5
VERY SMOOTH PROCESS, there was a bunch of myths about embarkation taking forever but this varies by cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Now, don’t get me wrong MSC’s food is kinda bland, but the variety of food in the buffet is unmatched. Honestly, They need to put the buffet cooks in the main dining room. But we do have to realize that theres 5000 Guests onboard, and MSC is new to America so the food may not taste as expected, instead of complaining we should give them tips.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
THERE WAS SOMETHING TO DO EVERYDAY!! Check your MSC For me app to see the activities of the day. There was always some event going on and i was busy all week. Look forward to the white night party!! It was the highlight of my cruise. Great Job MSC!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows are AMAZING, I’ve noticed a TON of growth and im excited to see more improvement as time passes. There was lively music all over the ship, i TRULY felt like i was on vacation. There were multiple parties with a DJ and honestly he did a great job. Carnival has some competition!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Ive been cruising for roughly 7 Years and I’ve NEVER seen a kids club as good as the one on MSC. I have a younger sister (who is 9 years old) and she LOVES the onboard children program (doremiland) The staff were making sure the kids had ENDLESS activities to do. On the last day of the cruise my sister was very disappointed that she had to leave. She believes “MSC’s kids club is better than carnival and Royal combined”

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The Service was great, alot of people may say otherwise but you’ve gotta realize that theres 5000 other passengers on the ship and its hard on the staff. From what I’ve seen some passengers are rather rude to the Staff. Everywhere i went the staff went “sorry sir, enjoy your food sir, you want me to get that for you sir” THEY WERE TOO KIND!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was NEVER dirty, in fact there was cleaning, painting, mopping/vacuming etc. 24/7. Ive NEVER seen a hint of rust or dirt on a MSC ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
VERY SPACIOUS, our room steward Jay was AMAZING. He was always there when you needed him, and it was nice having him as our room steward. There was a hint of sewerage in the bathroom but thats kinda typical on a cruise ship. Overall it was nice!

Ship tip

Dont be so hard on a cruise line who is fairly new to the US who is trying to please 5000 passengers.

Ports of call

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Ocean cay didnt have much to do besides swimming

Cozumel, Mexico

2 out of 5
Eh, we were docked at a port that was unfamiliar. The people were very pushy and it almost felt like i was in nassau again, next time we should do an excursion.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
COSTA MAYA REALLY IMPRESSED ME, the chances of me going back are 100/10.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Now This part was a little eh, but it was a somewhat smooth process. We didnt get off the ship til almost 10AM! There were people getting ready to embark as we were leaving. I feel that MSC needs a more organized debarkation process.
