The food was mediocre at the buffet. Only the pizza was great and some salads. Desserts were terrible. Main dining was a huge disappointment. The Japanese steak house was great, but you had to pay extra.

We were on this same sailing. The dining room menu was excellent, although perhaps there were more "non-American-friendly" choices than other cruise lines offer (which I expected with MSC's European background). The pizza at the buffet WAS also excellent, and there was a huge variety of choices available at all meals. Cruisers need to do their research pre-booking. If, for example, you are a less-than-adventurous eater, a more US-centric line might be more your cup of tea.
