Review summary

When the Embarkation was so frustration and anger was so high, the staff could have been more understanding and empathetic. There should have be a complimentary way and a more courteous was to create the calm. It was my best friend first cruise - and did not know if she was going to get sick so we made the extra time to get her acclimated before we pulled off from port. It was her first trip abroad so she was expecting more courtesy from the staff. Therefore it took us a good night sleep. Then we woke up to a wonderful ship, fun, relaxation, nature and her beautiful Ocean

Embarkation

OMG... The Worst, no matter the reason... A temporary Terminal; COVID; Overseas Travellers with Flight Delays.... It was lack of panning and organization and extremely rude Guest relation embarking and on Board. You would have thought the On-Board guest relations, knowing the issues at embarkation would be more understanding and compassionate.

Except for the Maitre'D on the first night. After all the Embarkation fiasco, he was not empathetic, that we did not make our dinner time.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes, yes, yes... The ship was well maintained, it was huge and beautiful, our cabin was very functional.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our Service Attendant Alfredo was excellent, he and our waiter made everything we had been through a distant memory. The bed was comfortable, well designed room, a surprisingly big bathtub well maintained. Plenty of Storage and shelving. Very clean and well sanitized

Ship tip

Wait for a port and for others to leave on excursions, then spend sometime getting to know the ship with less people around. It is very beautiful. Do not try to out-eat the All You can eat sushi... One must have a Gelato at Venchi's

Still too hectic with the lines. There must be a better way, to organize it, there we still too may lines, it felt as if they were herding us off, for the next herd

When you start the trip that way it’s so hard to reassess your expectations. We found that on our last sailing. Glad you managed to enjoy the rest of your cruise!

Imagine the workload that the crew must have. Calming guests is not on their schedule. There will always be lines.
