Review summary

Would definitely sail on MSC's Yacht Club again. Would like to see a better by the glass wine list. Appreciated the loyalty match of our Princess Elite status!

Embarkation

A dedicated area for Yacht Club guests was set up but it was still a bit chaotic. A new terminal in Miami will presumably straighten out the boarding process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate mostly at the Top Sail Restaurant - a beautiful venue overlooking the ship's bow. The food and service was great. Fork tender prime rib, surf and turf, Osso Buco, were standouts. In the buffet, very crowded, but the pizza is the best at sea and worth venturing out of the YC to try. Lunch was served at the pool deck and was always good. On Ocean Bay, the YC lunch was grilled octopus and a lobster roll!

Entertainment

We didn't see much but there was plenty of options and it looked like the crowds were having a good time.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Seascape is an incredible ship. Public areas were well maintained and clean. There were several atrium areas and pools and plenty of shops in a mall-like setting.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Yacht Club suite was well-appointed and very modern. Terrific large balcony and bathroom - loved the accomodations!

Ship tip

The Yacht Club was on par with Oceania and Viking Ocean cruising with the main exception being that it's on a 6,000 passenger ship. I would think that the experience in general quarters would be quite different and would not book anything but YC on this ship.

A new terminal is in the works and will enhance the port experience.

Disembarkation

Quick off for YC guests behind our lead blocker, a butler, who pushed through the crowds. Again, need a better system that doesn't agitate the non-YC guests.
