Review summary

Overall we felt this cruise was average. We’ve been on more than 5 cruises and we feel it would’ve been better had we more time on the island and less time on the boat but the ship needs to make money that way. The clientele onboard was the downside to the cruise. Although it was a family cruise, the passengers were dressed like slobs, very gluttonous and wasting food like crazy and many people didn’t even have manners, letting their kids run past people with hot drinks or food. It was so annoying, even the cruise ship entertainment director made a few jokes about people’s kids being a bit too much on the ship without their parents enforcing any rules or containing them in any way.

The design and layout were nice, just needed more places to put garbage instead of leaving it wherever you wanted

Booking from we were told we could pick the room but we didn’t get to pick it and the room was very noisy with ship noises throughout the night. Cleanliness was good except maybe the shower could’ve used some bleach to get rid of a smell.

Meriviglia was awesome for us. But that was when it left out of Cape Canaveral. I think Brooklyn port draws diff crowd and certainly goes to Bermuda which most other ports do not go to. I would love to go there someday!.

Thanks for your feedback. Just an FYI- The personnel walking around before you board the ship, work for the port authority. They have no clue who has priority or can answer any questions with certainty or keep the lines moving. The best time to cruise as you may know, is during the school season.

You get what you pay for - nice experience if you're ok with horrible service

MSC Meraviglia is a beautiful ship, sadly plagued with many service difficulties (due to staffing shortages and overbooking of small children).

1st Time on MSC and in the Yacht Club!
