Review summary

This is the WORST cruise I have every been on. I have never had a complaint with the many cruises I have been on until this one. I will never travel MSC cruise again. I will travel the same destinations I've already traveled if I leave from New York/Jersey with Royal Caribbean or Carnival Cruise.

Food and Dining

The main dining for the family group was horrible. We had the classic late seating which I guess to them meant 6 o'clock. While the rest of the family had an 8:30pm seating with three different tables. We were able to sit together as a family one time and that was because the 5 of the young adults didn't eat with us at the 8:30 seating. The maitre d from the Panorama Restaurant said that he wasn't going to accommodate us after that day. He didn't, when went the next night 8:30 seating we had to seat at the three different tables. When they and ask for our drinks and I order a cocktail, the waiter told me to order something different because the cocktail was going to take a long time. Its a lot to this but I'm going to end it here.

Onboard Activities

The lido deck was dry as the desert. No entertainment at all. This is the first time I been on a cruise and the lido deck didn't have dancing or anytime type of lasting entertainment.

Entertainment

The only show we went to and we had to pay for it was at the Carousel and Houdini show. Thats the first time I had to pay on a cruise for entertainment.

Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was good, Keisha for my massage and her presentation to upgrade to use the spa for the 7 days was good. Denzel from the bar service on the lido deck was good

Cabin / Stateroom

I was told the cabin had a couch for the third bed , because the people traveling were two over 60 females and a 92 year old man. Well the third bed was a pull down from the ceiling. You had to climb up a ladder to get in bed and once the bed was down you couldn't use the balcony without breaking your back. So my sister just put the mattress on the floor and thats where she had to sleep (on the floor). I couldn't use my CPAC because there was no outlets next to the bed. The only outlets was next to bathroom at desk. I had medicine that had to be refrigerated no refrigerator, just a paid locked mini bar.
