Review summary

This was a fantastic trip. I mentioned before about the service. We were waited on like royalty in every restaurant and venue. The ship was only at 1/3 capacity. So there were about 2,000 guests and the normal 2,000 crew. We were able to enjoy the ship at all times and even make good connections with the employees since they weren't as pressed as they usually are. It was my mother in-laws first time out of the country. She loved the cruise!

MSC always caters to families but during this trip (first month reopened after Covid), they went above and beyond their normal spectacular service.

I would give 10 stars here if I could. We were lucky enough to sail just after cruising reopened post Covid 19 shut down. This was our first trip and it was about a month after cruising resumed. The boat was at 1/3 of capacity so for every passenger there was essentially 1 crew member to serve them! We will never experience this again.

Go up one floor when exiting the theater to bypass the traffic jams in the promenade.
