Such a gorgeous city.. only problem we encountered was the protestors which should have taken a 20 minute cab ride from airport to cruise terminal took over 2 hrs.

I've been on several cruises where they would make announcements in 5+ languages. Have never bothered me.

If it's sailing in the USA all non-emergency announcements are in English only regardless of the passenger demographic. Because passengers in the USA didn't care for multiple languages and other things that were normal to MSC. So many things changed for the worse, including the food.

Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve had a great experience with MSC in the last 20 months and am looking forward to my upcoming cruises. The announcements in multiple languages varies based on the passenger mix onboard. Most of my 7 day US Roundtrip cruises only had announcements in English. The longer cruises and transatlantic had announcements in 5-6 languages.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Unfortunately, a lot has happened since 2017 when they first took voyage. They should have stayed in Europe where they operated much better.
