Review summary

Was fun and would go again. It does attract a lot of families though.

Embarkation

Long, but fast moving lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I thought 95% of the food was good. Some things were better than others. The buffet was always a mad house. But, if you are happy with burgers, hot dogs, and pizza, the food by the pool was easy and convenient to grab for lunch. The main dining room for breakfast and dinner was great. Lunch was easy to get into, but the food was just okay. Not the worst I've ever eaten, but could have been better. I do wish there was maybe 1 more complimentary place to get food like Norwegian has on their ships with The Local.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I was a solo cruiser, so I was content sitting by the pool on sea days. I also did participate in some trivia and arts & crafts. Casino was fun for a little bit.Adult only pool could have been bigger though.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the shows were really good. If you pay extra, you can go to the carousel lounge for Rock Circus and House of Houdini. But, you do get a drink included for those shows.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
My biggest disappointment here was never meeting my room steward. I also was not sure how to contact anyone for anything on that. So, I was missing a couple of things like pool towels a couple of times. The rest of the staff was excellent though.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
No complaints here about anything. Bathrooms were confusing to find a few times though.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Was in a solo interior. It was bigger than I expected. It was clean. And it was nice to have the virtual port hole to see what was going on outside.

Ship tip

Be patient. Always best to not be in a hurry or you will be waiting in a line.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
My least favorite of the ports. It's not a good place to do as a stop versus embarkation because you do need a ride to get anywhere. I got to Cocoa Beach, but was slightly disappointed that there wasn't much to do around where the cruise shuttle drops you off. But, it was also close to 100 degrees, so maybe it's better when it's cooler.

Brooklyn, New York

4 out of 5
Embarked here. Easier to get to than I thought. Very small and dark though.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Best part of my trip. Loved all the different beaches and the light house show. I also got to climb up the light house, which was nice to do for views of everything.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
I did a tour here and of course went to the real touristy attractions. But, I don't regret doing it as I've never been to Nassau before. The new port stuff looks nice though.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Just slightly confusing on where to go, even though they did try to give clear directions on their information page.
