Review summary

The cruise was overall decent, and for the price, it was precisely what was expected. I am incredibly disappointed with our travel agent Stacey Walker. I feel like I was misled and not informed enough. I wanted a drink package! I called stacey and she said they offer it. It was early so I thought to myself wait. I waited a month or so and called her back, she said she would call me back. She never did!! I called MSC and said they don't offer drink packages for 3 day cruises for this company they offer it as a promotion through your travel agent. I called Stacey back and she told me the promotion is sold. I wish this was comunicated to me at the original time. I had no way of knowing that the ship did not offer this. Stacey also explained that our room would be upgraded. It wasn't!! Drinks price approx 500$ Wifi 155 $$ If Stacey would have communicated this with me I would have saved money. I suppose this company doesn’t want customers to save money.

The food was ok! Buffet lines were long, as to be expected. Additionally, at the island buffet, the lines were out of control. It was so bad that employees directed us to the hamburger and fries line. In my opinion, that sucked! To get a drink on this cruise was impossible! Bartenders were swamped, and there were long lines to get drinks. Every bar, including the island, was impossible!! The casino seemed to have the fastest drink service on the ship and the temporary bars on the side of the main pool!! It was a disappointing experience for my girlfriend and me

Pools were always littered with empty drinks my girlfriend and I couldn't get. It was causing a hazardous conditions in some areas!

Our cabin was 9011. Nice room for a cruise!! Deck was beautiful

Ship tip

When at ocean cay island, go the the right and walk a approximately one mile to the ocean side of the island. It is less crowded and more scenic!! There are food trucks and bars on that side as well.

Awful!! In yet another line to disembark! This time it was about an hour in line to leave the boat.

I'm sorry about your experience but it just underscores the reason why I will never use a TA. There are waaaaaay too many bad ones out there. By the time you research finding a good one, you may as well just research the cruise line/ resort you're interested in.

Cruising during spring break is rarely a good idea. The short, three and four day cruises are becoming party cruises on MSC. They quit selling the drink package on the 3 day itineraries to try and cut down those that drink too much on those cruises. A seven day or longer cruise is a much better experience.

I found out the hard way about the drink package as well. I could not even get just a soda package and it was very disappointing.
