Food just didn't resonate with my family and I. Flavors were subpar, either bland or just not what I had expected from the food. The only place I liked was the Gelato. Everything else..... MEH 😕

You'll see staff everywhere. If someone left their drinks on the floor, staff would immediately clean. Our room was spotless.

Don't expect much out of the food but definitely take advantage of all the activities, shows, nightlife, casino, etc.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

The local tourist area was great, but as soon as you left that area, the real Costa Maya showed. Very run down city. We did do a beach day pass at Almaplena about 30 minutes south and had an amazing time. Buffet, and very secluded. Super relaxing! Clean.

Why meh? I have been on ships where you had to look past your normal ‘American’ “meat and potatoes” to get tasty food.

Glad you enjoyed most of it. Food is obviously subjective. I thought the food on the Meraviglia was equivalent to or better than that on Carnaval and Royal Caribbean.
