Review summary
We just got off of a quick weekend cruise yesterday. It was FABULOUS! I will say embarkation was not great, there was a lot of standing in line. However, once we reached the line to check in it was quick and the service was good. I have seen a lot of complaints and I have to say I am shocked. The only thing I can come up with to explain it is that these people feel entitled and are spoiled. We didn’t have anyone approaching us trying to sell us stuff, no one really talked to us unless we approached them. That’s just how we like it. I am on vacation so I want to enjoy my time. The food was excellent! When I was at the buffet they were putting out fresh food, restocking plates and silverware, and cleaning the line. Our server, Carlos, was great. He seemed rushed but he had a lot of tables and we had everything we needed and he made sure we were happy. Our room was perfect, we never saw our room steward but he/she kept it clean and tidy. The island was good. The line for food was a little long and in the summer it would have been too hot to wait. The food was good though. Overall I think MSC is great!Embarkation
