Review summary

Went to the Yacht Club for lunch on Ocean Cay. It was a complete s**tshow, people not getting food for over an hour, understaffed and the staff that were there were not properly trained as they served my 12 year old and 14 year old alcohol. When I complained I was completely dismissed and told “When it’s busy, human error happens sometimes.” They did not even pretend to acknowledge the fact that children were given alcohol, nor care that I was upset about it (I was very polite when I lodged the complaint). I accidentally left some items in a LOCKED safe with a set passcode in my stateroom and within an hour of leaving the ship contacted MSC and as of today my “items have not yet been located.” They did not have an appropriate amount of staff for the number of passengers they booked. This is just another corporation that puts profits above people and passenger safety, terrible customer service and then to top it off they steal my stuff. I will not be returning.

Loved the spa, but this cruise seemed to be lacking in activities. Previous ones had several unhosted get-togethers such as the veteran one and i enjoyed meeting others that way.

Only went to one. It was good but went on a little long

They had fun at the arcade but the activities in their age group didn’t start till 11pm and we were on a 2 hour time change

Ship tip

Get the Yacht Club Experience. Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze and I’m glad we didn’t have to suffer thru the nightmare others did

Thanks for the review. I’ve had two cruises with MSC and had a great experience. Did your children ask for alcoholic beverages or were they served them automatically? The only time I was offered alcohol for free was at the Diamond and returning cruiser events. It’s always important to read and follow the debarkation instructions that says to check your safe before leaving the ship.

Oh wow!! I would have been beyond upset if they would have given my under age children alcohol. I understand being busy, but not at the cost of health amd safety. So sorry that this happened to you and your family.
