Review summary

Great cruise. First with MSC and wasn't sure what to expect given some previous reviews. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great time The service and staff were excellent, shows were very professional and the ship was really clean and beautiful! Food was very good (though not always hot enough) and staff were always willing to help with any questions or things you needed. We sat at the same table in the dining room each night and the waiters brought our drinks right away and were quick to personalize our service. We had an awesome time and will be back!

great selection and service. Only issue was that food was sometimes lukewarm... Great tasting food though and pizza was excellent

very clean, bed was comfortable and shower was good size. Lacked a little storage (only 2 drawers and not much storage in bathroom)

Ship tip

pre book cirque de soleil as one was sold out, pre book thermal spa, internet, show times etc... can be done on board but took a couple of days to figure it all out. Easy once you know how!

beaches were full when we went (tried 3 and no sun loungers) so go early... There were 3 big ships in that day..

weather didn't play ball so only walked around and visited the shops. Looks like it will be beautiful

Disembarkation

express self checkout so carried luggage ourselves. Were in the car on way home in 30 minutes.

Very disappointing. It was not worth the money spent or points used. Embarkation was horrible. It took 3 hours just to get on board and that was with the Aurea Package. Insulting stares and being yelled at by staff as if we did not belong.

Excellent yacht club cruise with alot of plusses and just a few minuses
