Review summary

A lot of reviews from msc that the food and service is not so good. Well we can’t compare to other CruiseLine’s but we love msc. The price is in balance with the quality. We went to the restaurant to have dinner instead of the buffet because that can be crowdy

Our cabin was perfect at the even side in the front. Nice when we docked at ocean cay because we had a nice view of the island and the lighthouse. Our cabin steward Marc left us a thank you note and created nice animals with our towels 😊

Book the Balinese massage and internet upfront this will save you a lot of money.

We went to Kohunlich maya ruins. We booked with MSC because it was a 2 hour bus ride and didn’t want to miss the boat. The bus ride was comfortable and our tour guide Francisco was awesome! He gave us so much info during the ride. We choose this maya ruin because it has the masks. Also because of the long ride we assumed that it would be less crowded and it was! We were there only with 43 people. Saw monkeys in the trees from close by. If you don’t want to do an excursion this port offers a lot of activities and beaches.

Belize City, Belize

We booked an excursion via Facebook/messenger with Salt Eco Life Tours. Costs were 55 p.p. We took one of the first tenders and from there the 9.00 ferry to Caye Caulker. Walked to Salt Life tours and went snorkeling. Only the 4 of us. Was really so great!!! We had a National Geographic day! We were in the warm water with nurse sharks, sting rays, manatee and sea turtles. We took the ferry back at 16.00 and were perfectly in time for the ship. This was really an awesome day!! They provided go pro’s and send us all the pictures and video’s directly after the tour. We walked through the port of Belize for a few minutes but that’s not my thing..to many people and nothing to see.
