This was a good getaway for Thanksgiving. The itinerary was good and the ship was really nice spacious and entertaining. The food was blah but ok for a week. I would do it again but would NOT do the internet again. (Unusable)
Embarkation

Getting onboard was ok. Ran into a few long queues. One at security and one to check in. Those were expected but once I got through those I had to wait for my group to be called which took almost an hour of just sitting in the terminal area.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The main dining rooms were gorgeous. Modern looking and fancy. The food was ok. Good change from the buffet. The buffet was decent. More of a Mediterranean selection with the common burgers, pizza and fries. Pizza is really flat. Not as good as Carnival and Royal. Specialty was expensive but smelled good lol
L'Olive Doree & L'Olivo D'Oro

This was probably the most fancy dining room on the ship and we loved it. We felt so fancy that we had this dining room. Modern design was beautiful, wasn’t too crowded, and staff were nice.
Waves Restaurant

This was the go to spot for hot fresh food unlike the buffet. I could ask them to make me a burger fresh off the grill. It was conveniently located as well. And provided to-go boxes!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There was plenty to do on this ship. Several pools both indoor and outdoor. The little water slide park was fun. The amusement area is where I spent most of my free time. The flight simulator was super fun. The F1 simulator and 4D simulators were cool too. Bowling was fun but of course the ship rocks and you get gutters so don’t expect to be competitive. Of course all the amusement activities were extra. We paid $100 and got $120 worth of games. Estimates: bowling - $25/30mins, F1 - $15, 4D - $10, Flight- $15. The gym had all the necessary equipment to help lose some of those buffet calories. The spa was really nice. Although I didn’t get a massage we did get the thermal area for the entire trip and we loved it. Every evening we would go and relax in the many different rooms and jacuzzis. The hot stone chair is heaven.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
I was disappointed in the shows. Most were just sing and dance shows. Nothing like a broadway show, or themed show like the MSC Seaside has with the Michael Jackson show. We purchased the Cirque du solei show and it was ok but more blah and really short. TIP- avoid the Wi-Fi. It was terrible and unusable. I had to complain by day 3 and had it removed from my bill.
Bowling

The bowling alley was super cool until you notice the lanes are dry and the whole rolling a ball on a rocking ship doesn’t go well lol fun nonetheless
F1 Simulator

This was harder than it looked but it was fun the one time I got to use it. It was out of order for most of the trip.
The Broadway Theater
4 out of 5
This theater was large and nice. Modern design was cool. I do wish they had cup holders and a bar inside
Arcade Games
3 out of 5
There were only a few games. Definitely needed more but did have air hockey.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

For the most part the crew and service was great. A few times some of the crew had attitudes but we understood how they could be tired of all of it.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The design and layout were perfect. Don’t know what more you could ask for regarding the design and furnishings and general look and feel of the ship. The modern art and wall features were super cool. It’s a newer ship so everything was clean and new looking. The open promenade was awesome. Feels like a mall, not a ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The room was nice. Good size. Clean and the balcony was awesome. The tv had some cable channels which was a plus and the sofa was clean and comfy. The one knock I had was the mini fridge came fully stocked so we couldn’t put our drinks and snacks in there to keep them chilled.
Ship tip
If you get a stateroom on the back left side of the ship you will have access to an elevator that is not well known so it’s quick and often empty. It also takes you right up to buffet. We made several 5minute pizza runs thanks to that elevator.
This port was really nice. We originally were supposed to go to Ocean Kay instead but I’m glad we stopped here. The port was festive, big and had plenty of entertainment and shopping. Many excursions were close by. We went over to the beach and hung out for a while. TIP - go the beach at this port and get a 30min massage for $20 instead of purchasing one onboard for $200. They have nice massage beds, cover you with a sheet and oil you nicely. Plus it’s on a beach. Not a small room on a rocking ship.
This port was just ok. Have to tender to the port from the ship. Took about 30mins to get to the port via boat. The port has some shops and some food spots. Not really expensive but a little high. Not too much to do at the port but shop so unless you do an excursion you’re going to be back on the ship within 2hrs.
Roatan was fun. The port is small. Didn’t hang around very long. Caught a tourist van to the beach and hung out and did some jet skiing. Ate at a couple good local food spots on the beach. Beware there are a lot of people that approach you at the beach asking if you want to do stuff. They’re friendly but it gets annoying after a while.
We would have been there all day if we would have given them our bags but instead we took our own bags and after breakfast we went to the line and got out easily.
