Review summary

There is a lot of confusion from one bar tender to another on what exactly is included in which drink package. It's ridiculous to have so many options anyhow. I felt nickeled and dime often. All inclusive should be just that.

Embarkation

The person responsible for registration for my family mixed up the profiles for my daughter and myself. Resulting in extremely delayed embarking and many other issues on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Waiter in dining was excellent. Food and drink average

Onboard Activities

Cirque is so good. Parties are fun. Pools are very crowded and pool staff does not adhere to unattended "saved" chairs being opened. We saw chairs "saved" all day with no one in them and people actually sat on the floor

Ship tip

The ship is beautiful. Shows and entering was great. Service staff great. MSC has some work to do with administration process across the board before I'd sail with them again. There is a lot of confusion.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

No access to the beach. Just swim up bar pools. Expensive tourist trap.

Belize City, Belize

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

The island looks amazing from the ship. When you get down on the ground it's gross. The cruiselines really need to invest in these tiny ports that they destroy with thousands of visitors daily.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

MSC is doing a great job here. It's beautiful. Needs more bar service.

Always do research on the ports before you arrive. You complained about Roatan and Costa Maya and they are excellent ports with multiple things to do, but you have to leave the port area.
