We had a fantastic time on this cruise. MSC never disappoints. I can't wait until our next MSC cruise.

The food was fantastic. Lots of different choices. Lots of tasty foods. Great desserts. The only criticism we had was the specialty dinner for Cirque du Soleil. The show itself was of course phenomenal. Oddly, the meal itself was really really bland. There were three of us in our party and we each ordered something different so that we could taste each other's dishes. Each plate had no flavor and was just .... bleh. This was a shock given the quality of the food in the main dining room and buffet.
I would suggest you not bother to pay extra for that particular specialty dinner. However, this complaint is relatively minor in comparison with the rest of our experience that I'm not deducting any stars for it.

MSC is known for its high quality shows. This ship is no different. Check out any of the shows and you will be happy. The Cirque show was definitely fantastic.

Just about everyone was so super nice onboard. Everywhere we went, staff members always had a smile and said good morning or good evening.

The ship is gorgeous and clean. Seriously, amazing.
Cabin / Stateroom

This cabin unfortunately has a clean view of lifeboats. In fact, it looks like a large section of the ship was designed in such a manner that most of the cabins have some sort of view of the lifeboats. Given how cheap we got the cruise, this wasn't a huge deal. The cabin itself was clean and relatively spacious.
Ship tip
This is not your regular American cruise. Remember that this is a European cruise line. That means you're not going to get comedy shows like in other ships, or other shows that are in English. The shows are catered to all people and languages. All announcements are in multiple languages and you will be exposed to a wide variety of people. I've seen other people complaint about this, which I think is stupid. Recognize going in that there will be many non-native English speakers and don't be a jerk about it.

People need to be open minded when sailing MSC . It’s not all about the North Americans when sailing with MSC !!
Yes there are some minor things that need correcting but being what is considered a cruise veteran of over 40 cruises with many other lines , MSC is right there with NCL,
Carnival & Royal !
