Beautiful ship, excellent Broadway shows, overcrowded ship, overworked staff, poor food, nickeled and dimed for everything.
Probably won't travel on MSC again.

Wave Restaurant food was a big disappointment. Staff was overworked and so service was slow. After 2 visits we spent the rest of the week at the buffet. The buffet was very crowded, perhaps because the sit down restaurant was so bad, and too often out of something. Staff appeared overworked.

The Broadway shows were excellent. Cirque du Soleil first show was exciting, but 2nd show was cancelled before we could attend.

Most of the staff were very friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the ship. Relations Desk was understaffed with long lines most of the cruise.
Our room steward was one bright spot.

Beautiful Ship. Easy to get around. But the halls often had trash and cleaning supplies lying around for hours.

Very nice cabin. Steward keep the room clean and was very friendly. He was a bright spot of the staff.
Ship tip
Be prepared to be nickeled and dimed for everything. We had to pay extra,llike $20+, for the better entrées in the dining room. The only pluses were the beauty of the ship, the Broadway shows, and our steward. As a result we probably won't travel on MSC again.
This will be great when it's finished. Much of it was not available and so other areas were packed. Couldn't get close to the food areas. Shopping was more expensive than the ship for same items. Boat excursions were canceled due to the wind.
