Embarkation

Went well except for apparent defective body scanner. Everybody set off the alarm, including the staff. Registering credit cards could have been handled more efficiently.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Numerous occasions of sub par food in Wave main dining room. Buffet was roomy, very clean and comfortable. Food I had was okay.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I am 79, so the active recreational facilities didn't interest me, but they seem more geared towards the European traveler.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Was not impressed with some of the lead singers. Design of shows were unique. The sound system was way too loud. Almost deafening. Comfortable theater.
Children's Programs
No children. Appeared to be very nice, almost too spacious for the number of kids on this ship.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I have to shout out to Areylanta and Louis in the Wave restaurant. They were attentive and responded to our every wish. When we had to catch a show, they made sure we were served promptly. Jeffrey was our room steward and he was also very efficient and promptly responded to any request we had.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
One of the nicer designed ships I have sailed on, in my 45 cruises. Spacious walkways. Constantly cleaning of all parts of the ship. Most everything was centrally located on decks 5, 6 and 7 midship. Outdoor activities and buffet were mostly on 15 and 16 .
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Initially, we were uncomfortable with the size and layout, but after half a day and once we unpacked everything, we were very comfortable. Not having a coffee table in front of the sofa actually opened up the cabin and made it more functional. The main closet could be a couple of inches deeper for heavier items(suits, dresses). Size was pretty small, but space well used. With 2 beds, getting to balcony was very tight. TV had very limited free channels. A couple of music channels would
Ship tip
The main atrium shows were very good. Enjoy them. Drink prices were fair in relation to other cruise lines.
Loved it. It is new, and under construction , but it is spacious, comfortable and unique. Beautiful beaches. Worth it to stay up for the late lazer show on the lighthouse. Can be viewed from the ship. A nice ending to a very nice cruise.
