I had a great time on my first MSC cruise! BBC I’m ready for the next one!

There was a very long line but it moved quickly. There was a delay actually getting on the ship at no fault of MSC. A customs inspection occurred prior to us boarding. They opened another port for us to wait in instead of leaving us outside in the heat.

Food and Dining

The food was good in both the main dining room as well as the buffet. I’m usually not a buffet person but the cleanliness of the ship made it a great experience. I loved that there were hand washing stations heading into the buffet area. We also went to the Chefs Table. This was one of my best chefs table experiences. The meal along with the wine/drink pairings were superb.
Waves Restaurant

Succipto was a great waiter. Henrico was a great head waiter. Henrico facilitated our dining time change effortlessly and also ensured that our bottle of wine was saved for dinner.
Onboard Activities

Surprisingly, I did not get into any of the pools or the hot tubs. However, there were so many hot tubs on this ship you didn’t have to worry about one being too crowded. The gym had a great variety of machines and equipment to be used complimentary. While I didn’t use the bowling alley, it was nice to see it available as an activity.
Entertainment

The stage shows were amazing at a broadway level of performances. While there was always something to do I appreciated the fact that activities weren’t pushed on you. I had the opportunity to actually relax and enjoy my vacation. The DJs were great in the nightclub and the Horizon deck. I do think the night club area was rather small for the size of the ship.
Carousel Lounge

We saw the Cirque de Soleil Sonor show with dinner. It was amazing! The food was great and the show was awesome. There was a violinist as a part of the opening act who was great!
Service and Staff

Everyone was awesome and eager to please! Yaseen and Keila were great and attentive bartenders. Dudley and Latoya were great waiters.
Ship Quality

This was one of the cleanest shops I’ve ever been on. There was always someone cleaning at all hours of the day!
Cabin / Stateroom

This was one of the most spacious interior cabins I’ve been in. The only downside was the limited storage but we made it work.
