We never had a bad meal. We were very worried because we read some unfavorable reviews. So glad they turned out to be wrong. Every restaurant INCLUDING the buffet was amazing!

Onboard Activities

The thermal area was great. We each had 2 massages while on board.

Entertainment

The Cirque De Soleil should NOT be missed. The show was breath taking.

Service and Staff

Most staff members were helpful and polite. We loved the Bartender at the Champagne Bar. He remembered us after our 1st night!

Ship Quality

The ship at first was confusing but after Day 2-3 we understood it. It was also very clean in spite of the many cruisers on board.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had amazing views when we were at port. We also caught some AMAZING sunsets.

Ship tip

Before embarking I did a lot of research and many people said to eat at the back of the ship because it would be less crowded. I will have to pass on this same tip. Also confirm all of your on board reservations. We had a few minor mishaps with our reservations and I'm glad I followed up on them all when I did not see them on our personal agenda.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

We started here. It was quite a trek to get to the port. We opted to take the train to the port. Once we got to the station we took a public bus to a shuttle that would then take us to the ship.

The city was a very short walk away from the ship. We did a train that took us around the city. It was only 20 Euro for both of us.

Valletta, Malta

Malta was nice. We did the Hop on Hop Off Bus and it was terrible! It was raining and cold so many people had little patience. We had to wait on the bus for a very long time. When we got on the bus it was over crowded! No one wanted to sit up top because it was raining. No one wanted to get off because it was raining. We do not recommend the City Sight Seeing Hop On Hop Off Bus!

To get to the city from the ship we recommend taking the ship shuttle. It is not a short walk! We did the Hop On Hop Off Bus and got off in the city center. The tour was nice!

Marseille was beautiful from the ship. We did not get off because the ride from the ship to the city was 30 minutes! We made this a ship day.

The view of Genoa from the ship was not very pleasing to the eye. We decided not to get off as there wasn't much we wanted to see.
