Review summary

With 15 cruises under my belt, I think I have formed a sufficient opinion to know that I like it and not a cruise. It's the third time I'm sailing with MSC Cruises. MSC Fantasia in 2011, MSC Preziosa in 2013 and this one that concerns us in 2017 in MSC Meraviglia. The ship is beautiful. It has the characteristic elegance of MSC Cruises ships. However, there are some aspects that I do not quite understand where so many millions of dollars have been spent. However I do not explain how with so much space per cabin they dedicate only 90 cm x 90 cm approximately to the toilet access dispenser where it is not possible to keep one door open without disturbing the other. In the same way, the MSC Áurea Spa, with about 1,100 m2, dedicates a Pool of bubbles of just 5 m x 3 m approximately and a depth of 50 centimeters !. It is impossible to extend the legs if another passenger comes in front. Disappointing.

I have no doubt that the MSC Yacht Club Area is the best option for a relaxed and peaceful vacation, where the passenger's mime is your best letter of introduction.

The restoration in general has not been at the expected level, both in the Marketplace buffet and the Top Sail Restaurant that I have visited. I can not conceive that an Italian shipping company does not know how to give the right point to pasta or pizza. Horrible. Nothing to do with my memory of MSC Fantasia and / or MSC Preziosa.

Of the two shows of Cirque du Soleil, Sonor and Viaggio, the latter undoubtedly is a waste of color, joy and fun, even with a vague plot: an artist in search of his elusive muse, compared to the first, more sober , dark and tedious.

My cabin, the 16007, is wide (from 24 to 28 M2) and with all the advances and amenities corresponding to the category YC1 (Air conditioning, private balcony, large wardrobe, bathroom with shower, interactive TV, telephone, Internet connection by Wi-Fi (for a fee), minibar, safe, Nespresso machine). However I do not explain how with so much space per cabin they dedicate only 90 cm x 90 cm approximately to the toilet access dispenser where it is not possible to keep one door open without disturbing the other.
