Review summary
we had requested table for two. We checked with head of restaurant Instead of being polite and say don't have he went on:- have to build ship twice as big and on and on----. The are are many courteous ways to say no. This ship stops at different ports and several hundred embark and disembark and if they tried they could have accommodated or have three small table in the same area.We decided to eat at cafeteria , I had special diet request but it could not be met but they call me how I am doing?. How is my diet. This was funny. I learn my lesson: stick with American Cruises: you will be better off.

Had to read this review a few times to decipher it's message! I'm guessing here but here goes....I am guessing you requested a table for two in the dining room and you could not be accommodated. After 7+ cruises I am sure by now you are aware that the dining "request" is just that, a request. The maitre'd in the dining room(s) can not accommodate everyone's request. Just imagine if every couple traveling alone requested a table for two. He/she probably came across rude because he/she had numerous requests for table changes which is no way an excuse but he/she is just human. What was your "Special Diet Request"? I have never heard when requested pre-cruise where a cruise line couldn't meet special dietary needs. I request one for my wife when we cruise and we have never been disappointed. Seems with all the green smiley faces, you had a better than 2-star time on your cruise!
