Review summary

It is very small in comparison with the smaller well-known cruise ships. The entertainers lacked talent and personaltiy. However, the pool "entertainers" were AWESOME!! from 10am-5pm the entertainment by the pool was the daily highlight. NO SPLASHING IN THE POOL- Europeans, adults and children alike, do not tolerate any swimming, splashing, playing or simply enjoying yourself. Kids were frowned upon when they splashed in the kiddie pool. Kids were also frowned upon during the day where the majority of people were. They expected kids to just stay in the child care facility-that was not one of our options! If you are cruising to experience different contries and culture-then this is the cruise for you. If you have a family and want to enjoy yourself you may consider an American style cruise ship such as Royal Caribbean Carnival.

Pros: The variety of different ports that are not available with the most common cruise ships

Cons: lack of talent within their entertainment, nightly shows were no more than a bunch of show girls walking across the stage, half nude.

Recommends MSC Lirica? No.
