Review summary

Overall a good first cruise which we enjoyed a lot. However: Tender offloads disorganised starting with queuing on the morning for tickets. Priority given to MSC excursions Buffet just a little too overbearing to be fun Some people (other guests) have no awareness of personal space, in particular with our less mobile party member who uses a walker - we had to muscle people out of the way on a number of occasions especially at the lifts or getting on/off tenders

Embarkation

4 out of 5
All good and quick. Transfer from station confusing

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Black Crab fine, staff were excellent and food and choices were pleasant. Calumet Buffet aka Bunfight was less inspiring and not much of a pleasure. Often couldn't get a table and the food was average

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of choices. Never used the pools as too much else going on. Gym equipment always available, got nails done in the spa with a lovely lass from Zimbabwe/South Africa

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Theatre show different every night but short. Music in all bars was ok if not a little loud at times

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff brilliant

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleaned regularly throughout. Layout easy to navigate once learned but long waits at lifts didn't help

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Good size for 3, one of which has limited mobility. For some.reason when anchored at Santorini the shower water overflowed the shower area of the wet room and we e had to use towels to soak up water and keep ourselves safe from slipping

Ship tip

Take a lanyard for your cruise card and avoid the buffet if possible
