Review summary

It was our first cruise. Much quieter than the second in the Mediterranean (see my review of World Europa 2023). I liked the trip to Jamaica and Mexico. The ship, even before its renovation, was beautiful and modern.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was very good, especially since at this time of Christmas we had special and refined menus.

Black Crab Restaurant

5 out of 5

Our evening restaurant, very good. We were with another French family, very nice.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the theater shows. For other activities, we did not try.

Entertainment

Pantheon Theatre

Beautiful theater and amazing show

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The crew members were friendly. We just regret that our waiters/Stewart didn't speak French, but that's just a detail.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
In my memories, the ship was clean and maintained. The passengers were less dirty and more respectful than now.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was large and spacious, we had a nice balcony. I believe that since the ship has been renovated, the cabin numbers have changed (I cannot find my cabin in the current plan)

Ship tip

As much as possible, take a cabin with a balcony for this type of cruise. There is nothing better than having breakfast on the balcony.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
The city is very pretty. We did a beach day. It's not the most interesting port, but we can say that we visited a country of the British Crown!

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

4 out of 5
Just a beach day. The landscapes were beautiful.

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
We were able to visit the city at the end of the cruise, before taking the plane. Very friendly with a Tour Bus.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Magnificent discovery of the waterfalls flowing directly into the ocean. We bought local produce, drank fresh coconut milk, and experienced the tropical climate for the first time.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Our favorite excursion, we took the excursion to Tulum. The ruins (Mayan if I remember correctly??) were beautiful, with a warm ocean below to bathe in. The meal was integrated. We were also able to take a picture with iguanas.
