Review summary

All in all the ship was nice, the food was good, the staff was excellent but the onboard maintenance and no tv ruined it for me. I have gotten no response from MSC so I guess they could care less. I'll never sail MSC again for these reasons. I wish I could upload my videos of all the hammering!

It was difficult to use the pool due to the ongoing maintenance of the ship. There was constant hammering, I went back to my cabin to try to get away from the noise, but couldn't sit on the balcony due to all the noise. TV's never worked during the entire cruise. I paid for a balcony suite and received a notice one night that the balcony would be closed the next day for maintenance!

The cabin itself was nice and spacious, but paying for a balcony when I couldn't use it for much of the trip was awful. I have emailed MSC twice with no response.

Ship tip

I have been on many great cruises and this was not one of them. Maintenance should be done when there are no passengers on board. I have tried twice to contact MSC asking for some restitution for not being able to use the balcony and for no tv for the entire cruise to no avail.

First time cruiser? Maintenance is constantly required on cruise ships and they sail for months / years at a time with passengers on every day. Not sure what compensation you would be due.

Appreciate your details. Sorry you were disappointed. I don’t mind one day for cleaning/maintenance on our balcony, but more than that is unacceptable.

People either love or hate MSC. I’ve been on the Divina three times for a total of 26 days since October and had a great experience. Appreciate the negative reviews. It keeps the prices cheat for those of us that enjoy it.
