What should’ve been a great trip started bad with embarkation lasting 2 hours, Satellite down for Super Bowl and was never fixed. Mediocre ship entertainment and bar staff with attitude. The ship is really nice but there is room for improvement.

Horrible embarkation. Was told the ship had hosted a Reggae Festival the week before. They allowed the passengers to party til 5:30am and they couldn’t get them to leave the ship. It set the schedule back 2 hours. Which is the approximate time we waited in line to board the vessel.

Food in dining room very good. The buffet was good but didn’t change much over 5 days, same menu.

The stage musicians/dancers/acrobats were excellent. They did NOT have a ship band.The music and themes were mush mash and poorly writtten. All performances to canned music. No calypso band, the bars and lounges had single and double acts ALL playing with canned music. Their performances mediocre at best.
Service and Staff

Our waiters Homer and Raymond were top notch. Always going out of their way to make things right. Our room steward did an excellent job. He did a minor slip on the last night and we ran out of toilet paper. I saw a cart by the room and took 2 rolls. The supervisor scolded me and said “Next time you ask” was unwarranted and didn’t appreciaoate

We were very disappointed in some of the bar staff and the fact that the satellite dish did not function on Super Bowl Sunday nor any time within our cruise. They had 12 hours at port in Miami to get a technician on to fix but they didn’t. They had almost 48 hours at their private island where I’m sure they have qualified technician. Still did NOT fix it. So, no TV
Thank you for your response. I actually love the ship. One other beef is the adult pool and lack of ADULT hot tubs. They really should not allow kids under the age of 14 in the hot tubs. People with kids in diapers allowed in. Crazy huh?
Glad you enjoyed most of it. The special theme cruises seem to have issues with everyone getting off the ship late. I have seen similar complaints on several cruise lines. The satellite was out a few months ago on Divina, but was working in January when I was on. It sounds like it is a recurring problem they can’t find a permanent solution to.
