Review summary

Nice ship, this short cruise is used by most passengers as a party event. Having said that, you had groups of friends, large families (extended) a rather happy and loud LGBTQ amount, and also couples and married couples celebrating anniversaries. You had a venue for each. As said, it takes a few days to find out the venue one fits best, but it is there, and am sure that the next trips will be more enjoyable for that reason. Not necessarily a good venue for singles.

Embarkation

It was prompt, however, I did not receive all the pertinent info prior to, but the port crew was very helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet is excellent with excellent hours. The restaurants were good, but it is understandable why as the cruise went along, less people went to the restaurants and stayed with the buffet.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Plenty of jacuzzis to enjoy, plenty of bar venues and entertainment to choose from.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Most of the ships entertainment performers were very good indeed, but not all.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
It was excellent. However, I used my room key as my charge card since I had deposited 250 . When ordering drinks, one would get a receipt at the dining facilities, but not so at the bar. I thought the price would be the same. All I know is that I had six drinks (receipts for three at $6 each) and when billing out my 250 deposit, I was charged 86. The night before the cruise ended, and the next morning, I would say that hundreds of guests were complaining about the charges. Also needs to be noticed, that many complained concerning the jackpot machines not working well.

Cabin / Stateroom

All very nice. The TV remote needed new batteries, the TV is a small 24, and not a good selection of channels, reception. There was a sock under the bed that wasn't mine lol.

Ship tip

Not for singles. It does take three days to get to know the layout and fully appreciate the ship. I am sure that a second trip will be more enjoyable. Note, there were some passengers who love the ship and actually live in it for months.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

I live in the area, but there really isn't anything to do there.

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Ship docs very close to Atlantis, but once done the Bahamas, there really isn't a need to do it more than once.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This is where everybody did get off and enjoyed themselves. I walked, though there is transportation available for those who wish it, it isn't necessary. Didn't go snorkeling , but from what I saw and heard from those who did, it is a wonderful experience. Likewise, the jetski allows you to really go deep and fast. A great place, and the ship is there for easy access to and thro.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
As mentioned, I saw hundreds of people trying to figure their bills. Having said that, the process to disembark was very orderly and fast. The port does have issues with the vehicle traffic, expect 30 minutes or more if picking someone up by car.
