Review summary

We loved it, and so did our kids 8 and 11. We had a blast and would love to do it again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It took about 2.5 hours to get on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Tons of variety for the buffet, but very few options for dinner at the restaurant. We paid the additional $10 per dinner the have the New York strip, which was absolutely amazing. Totally worth it.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There was pools, but they all started at 5’3” and went deeper, so no place for kids in a shallow end.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Honestly, we sat in on a couple of shows. It was alright. Nothing too spectacular, but decent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were very impressed with all the staff on board. Customer service was excellent. And Roxanne was amazing with taking care of our room and always us with a smile. Everyone was beyond helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I really did like the ships design. Tons of places to get drinks and Noah of the stuff was in the middle.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was pretty good. You definitely can’t expect a hotel room, but it was nice. The tv did not work for most of the journey. The balcony was a huge help with motion sickness.

Ship tip

Don’t over pack and carry your own luggage off the ship. You can get off first if you carry your own luggage off.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

We did the excursion, which took us straight to a private island. We were there the whole time and then the boat took us back to the cruise. I wish I had time to get on the main island. To visit gift shops and such.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

4 out of 5
It was a beautiful little private island. Prices were very high on the island and south beach had something biting us in the water. We did not have anything biting us at the lighthouse beach. You can’t take any sea shells or rocks from the island otherwise you will be asked to remove the ones you have in your bag. Lol.

Disembarkation

It actually went pretty seem less. It took us an 15 minutes to get off after our number was called.
