Review summary

This ship is very different from American based ships. It is very European with passengers of many cultures, many different languages. Announcements are made in about 4 or 5 languages. Pizza is excellent in buffet!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We had to wait a bit outside due to a line, but once inside the building it moved quickly, however, we are Black status.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good in dining room and Eatily Restaurant, however, except for the pizza, the food in the buffet was mediocre.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The dancing classes, deck parties, morning exercises on deck were a lot of fun. The entertainment team were outstanding in getting passengers involved.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent shows, vocalists, musicians! Top Quality.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service was good but not as engaging unless you began the conversation.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Clean, well maintained, and LOTS of mirrors!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was a nice size, balcony very small....closets very small, not enough storage space.

Ship tip

Go to all of the shows and as many as the music venues you can. Come early to the shows and enjoy the shenanigans of the entertainment team.

Ports of call

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Great port. Take a tour if you were never here before. excellent snorkeling and diving port.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Took the public bus to Mambo Beach. Fun area. If you have never been here before, take a tour. interesting island.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
Take the public bus across from the port to go to the beach. Many to choose from. Or, just walk around town.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

3 out of 5
We walked to the beach. $3 entrance, but not a great beach...murky water and squishy bottom.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Water was too rough for tenders.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
we carried our luggage off as a plethora of people did. After standing in line, once they allowed us off it went very quickly.

Very often announcements are made in 5+ languages on Celebrity and Princess and probably on other American lines. They know their passengers and try accommodate them.
