Review summary

The ports were great but I would not cruise with MSC again. As an English speaker there were not too many announcements in English. I felt ignored compared to others who spoke other languages.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The lines moved quickly although there were many passengers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Fruits were either hard or over ripe. Dinner was mediocre except for the last night. There was not much variety.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The lounges were ok, but to have just 1 club that didn't play a variety of music was disappointing.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Not too much to do really. There wasn't too much daily variety.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
My steward Von was excellent!. At dinner I was treated very well also, but other wise not so much.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
There was too much vibration felt in my cabin.

Ship tip

I did not like the design. It was decorated well but the layout could have been better. There were some elevators that did not always go all the way to the top of the ship...very strange.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Although there was a little confusion in the theatre, getting off the ship was not difficult.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

After getting food poisoning on the Davina, I tried to only eat the fruit and felt the same way about them. I’d have to get a giant bowl of pineapple just so I could sort through it to find a few pieces that weren’t as hard as the core. I wished they had played some dance music that was American. We can speak Spanish, but listening to Spanish club music blasting all of the time was a drag. Some variety would have been nice.

We went on the divina years ago and felt the same way no to mention food was awful and ship was boring. MSC is not on my list to cruise anymore.
