You can't beat the experience MSC brings for the price. Yes 99% of the cake is bland and all the ice tea on board is horrible but the people and ship itself are fantastic and I always felt like the crew really cared.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Quick and easy and the room was ready!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
There's always something to be found except seasoning in the food! But I guess that's to be expected when you have to cook for 4,000+ people
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Kids have to be 8 to use the water slide- bummer
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Treasure Island and Micheal Jackson were the best
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
The 2 hours I let my child play in the mini kid club she loved it but I'm a helicopter mom so I had no trust in the young foreign kids running the program
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Not the quickest but the sweetest and kindest for sure
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Not sure how this boats stay so clean because the only trash cans I saw were in my room
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
It was so nice having a calming balcony to relax on. Our cabin was spacious as far as cabins go and the pillows were the best.
Ship tip
Eat breakfast in the Black Crab instead of the dining hall. It's all so much better and features things you can't get upstairs- plus it's free and closer to disembarking floor (4). Also don't rush to get off the ship unless you want to stand in a line. Give it 30-60 minutes and avoid the hassle
Could go the rest of my life without ever going there again. The city was trashy and dirty, the streets weren't safe to cross and we spent the whole day telling people we didn't want our hair braided. Make sure to book an excursion for your Jamaica day. We went to the beach where the Dunns falls meets the beach and it was the best. We sat at a table under a big tree that hung over and shaded the beach that was perfect for my young children to play under
It's been 5yrs since I went to Nassau and wasn't impressed the 1st time I went but man had it really cleaned up in the last 5 yrs. It was my second favorite
