Review summary

The MSC DIVINA was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We celebrated my daughter's Sweet Sixteenth birthday party in the Black and Whire lounge. They reserved a great area for our family and friends. It was perfect!  We would have dinner at The Black Crab Restaurant and the food and menu was wonderful. The buffet in the other hand was not as great. The type of food is very different didn't like it very much but the pizza was delicious and 24hrs. It was always so very crowded especially around 8:00. Remember it is an European cruise so you won't find much American food in the buffet. Shows were good and the Michael Jackson tribute was the best. Tips: Take travel cups to fill in the buffet cups are too small, can of sodas, and a gallon of water.

We boarded the ship and then went out to buy the sodas *12 can box for $4.00* at a near by CVS. Use your gps to find the nearest one to the dock. You can take an Uber or just buy it before you board the ship.

My wife and I brought refillable water bottles the tap water is fine, and for soda I bought 12 can pkg for $18. Cheap in my book

I cruised on MSC last year and we had a good time. It's definitely European based and different from Carnival but we still enjoyed ourselves. Life is about experiencing different things so just have an open mind and enjoy yourself.

MSC is definately European based. I am glad the cruise line has expanded to the US Caribbean market. But yes, there are differences.

We boarded the ship and went out, took an uber to CVS and we brought on-board a box of 12 can sprite and a gallon of water in plastic bags which also come in handy, they let it pass with no problem.

Do they allow us to bring limited soda and water onboard?
