Review summary

We have made over 20 cruises from different companies but first time on MSC.....and this was the last time.

The embarkation took over three hours in a real cahoots.

Room so small, no chairs, shower for one/120 pound person in a closet bathroom.

And this, in a "balcony" room!

Food, cafeteria style....cheapo. Even the specialty restaurants were not " special"

Italian resto with pizza...no pasta? Yes, no pasta just pizza.

We like a good cocktail and cognac b/4 and after meal with music but even the musicians/singer were mediocre.

Very, very dissapointing costly trip!

We sailed last year on the divina and we going again this summer, food was good, accommodations were nice, we had the aurea experience so embarkation super was fast! Divina is a gorgeous ship, we loved it! P.s about the shower, I'm a 120 lbs and my husband is 180ish we both fitted in together no problem.... ð

I weigh 170 & I fit in the shower just fine. we had a balcony cabin that was very spacious & very nice. Bathroom accommodated 2 of us in there at once. I have no complaints, the ship was beautiful, the staff was amazing, our room steward was top notch, I didn't starve, I got a few free drinks, what's to complain about?

We went in July and everything was great! Shower was just fine . Love the doors and not a shower curtain like the other cruise lines! Food was excellent! Plenty of Pasta on Buffet and dinner. So happy, we just booked another 7day cruise May 27th with 14 people! And guess what! We all booked Interior cabins and we were all upgraded to Balconies! MSC is the best! Great price, Great Value!

Sorry to say these, but as far as I can see here, studying reviews, those who are finding out negative things in their vacations they not only got it, but, for sure, attract it. I've sailed her in 2015 and everything was excellent (I'm sure 100% that bathroom in 2017 not smaller than in 2015 ;)) ) Stuff was more than friendly (even taking into account that we always have language barriers (English is not my first language and my partner doesn't speak English at all). Once disappointed with MDR, we are avoiding in on an MSC line, but their buffet & restaurants is quite enough to enjoy meals. Embarkation took about 20-30 min from bus to ship... sorry that your experience was so bad, I wish you could just enjoy the moment. )))

Wow, we walked right on the ship. Didn't have to wait at all. Even disembarkation was a breeze. Loved our balconey room. Sorry you had such a miserable time.

geez I fit just fine in that shower, and I'm a 200lb person. How is it that you had 20 cruises and only just realised the showers are not big? It was the same size as what we had on Royal Caribbean's Freedom.

Why didn't you do research before you booked with MSC? So many videos on YouTube that show the layout of the rooms..

you were on holiday!!!you didnt have to work that week,and you complain that the bathroom could only fit a 120 lbs person in the shower??Come on Dianedesj...get a life wow!This is what I hate about this app...just negative reviews
